From a former designer of The Sims 4

Quitting is the glow-up.

The gamified quit-vaping app made specifically for women. Every vape-free day levels you up: your skin, your sleep, your savings. Zero shame, real science, and yes, a little bit of a game.

How it works

It's honestly pretty simple.

  1. 01

    Pick your quit day

Choose the day you're done. That's day one of the new you.

  2. 02

    Check in daily

One tap every morning. Log how you're feeling, and over time you'll see what actually helps.

  3. 03

    Watch it add up

Clearer skin, better sleep, money saved, and your GLOW leveling up as you go.

  4. 04

    Never do it alone

Nova's up at 2am when a craving hits. So is a whole circle of women doing this too.

No shame, by design

Slip, and you're still her. No red screens. No back to zero.

Most apps snap your counter back to zero the second you slip. GLOW doesn't. You slide into a warm Recovery Mode instead, your progress stays, and your GLOW Level never resets. One rough night doesn't erase weeks of work.

Why grace, not shame
Shame drives continued use after a setback, it doesn't prevent it. GLOW is designed around that finding, not against it.

Nova, your 2am companion
Someone to talk to when the craving comes and no one else is awake.

Nova's a 24/7 companion for the moments that make or break early quitting. She's honest about being an AI, and she listens before she fixes. Tell her you're craving and she sits with you first. Tell her you slipped and she says "I'm glad you're here," not "you failed." And if things ever get serious, she connects you straight to people trained to help.

Real, visible progress

Watch the glow-up happen. In your skin, your sleep, your money.

GLOW pays you back in the stuff you actually care about, not blood-pressure charts. Watch your skin clear and your savings stack up, seal a note to future you, and see your glow-up week by week in your own photos. Every day you show up earns real, visible progress, which is exactly how your brain rebuilds its reward system after nicotine.

Why the reward works
Quitting opens a dopamine gap that recovers over about three months. GLOW's daily rewards are designed to fill it.

When the craving hits

A craving is a wave. GLOW gets you across it.

One tap opens a calm, guided moment built around the few minutes it actually lasts. Breathe, get grounded, or talk it through.

SOS breathing, a guided 4-7-8 moment
Built for women, on purpose
Not a neutral app with pink added.

Every call we made was for you: the reframe, the grace instead of shame, the parts of life you actually care about. Because women hit real, specific barriers to quitting that generic apps just ignore.

Who it's for
Women are around 30% less likely than men to quit successfully, not for lack of motivation, but because of barriers most cessation tools were never designed around.

Who's behind GLOW

A career spent designing things people love to come back to.

GLOW is built by Anna Machata, a game designer and product leader who shipped The Sims 4 features to 85 million players at EA. A career spent crafting playful, deeply functional systems, now pointed at helping you build the habit that matters most.

GLOW is the first app from Euphoria Labs, her studio in Austin.

You're closer than you think.

Start the glow-up that actually holds. GLOW is coming to iOS, and the first cohort gets in first.

A quick, honest note

GLOW supports your quit. It is not medical care, therapy, or a crisis service, and it doesn't treat or cure anything. Your health data is encrypted and, wherever possible, de-identified. We never sell your data. If you're ever in crisis, GLOW connects you to 988 (call or text) and the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741).

About GLOW
GLOW comes from a simple conviction: the same craft that makes things impossible to put down can be turned toward helping you let go.

We're a women-led company building GLOW for women doing the hard work of quitting nicotine. Our founder, Anna Machata, spent her career in games and product — shipping The Sims 4 features to 85 million players at EA, then leading product teams — learning exactly what makes a loop impossible to put down.

GLOW is what happens when we point that craft at something that actually helps you, instead of keeping you hooked. GLOW is the first app from Euphoria Labs, Anna's studio in Austin; the longer story of how GLOW got built lives there.

We built GLOW after watching too many of the women in our lives fight nicotine on their own, with vapes and pouches engineered, deliberately, to be hard to quit. They deserved something built just as intentionally to help them let go.

Why GLOW works
The reason quitting is so hard was never about how strong you are. Nicotine was engineered to be hard to put down. GLOW is built just as intentionally to help you let go.
Why it's hard
"Nicotine hijacks your brain's dopamine system, which is what makes the craving feel louder than your reasons. When you quit, your brain recalibrates, typically over about three months."
Biological Psychiatry, 2016
Why we never shame
"Shame is a driver of continued use after a setback, not a deterrent. Punishing a slip makes another one more likely, not less."
Clinical Psychology Review, 2019
What works instead
"Self-compassion motivates change because you care about yourself and want to be well, not because you feel inadequate."
Dr. Kristin Neff, Annual Review of Psychology, 2023
What GLOW is

The hook, rebuilt to heal.

The craft that makes games impossible to quit, turned toward helping you quit for real. Feminine in surface and substance, honest about how hard the work actually is, built by a woman-led company that knows exactly how the hook works, and how to build one that heals instead.

Come glow with us.

Coming soon to iOS. Your first glow is already waiting for you.

Privacy Policy

Effective · [effective date]

GLOW ("GLOW," "we," "us") is operated by [Legal entity]. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have. GLOW helps you quit nicotine; some of what you share is sensitive, and we treat it that way. This policy covers both the GLOW app and glowquit.com.

How we handle your health data

Your health-related data (your nicotine profile, wellness check-ins, quit progress, and your conversations with Nova) is encrypted and, wherever possible, de-identified, stored so it isn't tied to a name that identifies you. We do not sell your data. Ever.

What we collect

  • Account. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID email (which we store only as a one-way hash) and a display name you choose (a nickname; it does not have to be your real name).
  • Onboarding. Your nicotine-use profile (types, frequency, cost), a short assessment of your nicotine habits, and your quit and wellness goals.
  • Your progress. Quit date, streaks, slips, points and levels, and daily intentions.
  • Wellness check-ins. The mood and craving inputs you log, and any notes you write.
  • Nova. Your conversations with Nova, encrypted at rest.
  • Progress photos. Any selfies you choose to add, stored privately; only you can access them.
  • Community. Posts, replies, and reports or blocks you make.
  • Referrals. Your referral code and whether a code was used.
  • Subscription. Managed through Apple and RevenueCat; we do not receive or store your card number.
  • Usage analytics. De-identified events about how the app is used, with personal identifiers stripped before they leave your device.
  • Device and diagnostics. Basic device info (model, iOS version, app version) and crash reports, used only to keep GLOW working.

This website

If you join the waitlist at glowquit.com, we store only your email and the date you joined, so we can tell you when GLOW is live. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for anything else. The site may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful; no personal data is sold or shared with advertisers.

What we do not store

If GLOW detects a possible crisis, it shows you 988 and Crisis Text Line resources and records only that a resource was shown, never the content of what triggered it.

How we use it

To provide and personalize GLOW, run Nova, process your subscription, keep the community safe, and improve the product. That's it.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contract: Apple (sign-in, payments), Supabase (secure hosting and database), RevenueCat (subscriptions), PostHog (de-identified analytics), Sentry (crash reporting), OpenAI (powers Nova and content-safety checks), and Expo (notifications). We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

Your rights and controls

From Settings, any time, you can export your data, delete your account (a 30-day grace period, then permanent deletion), and reset Nova's memory without deleting your account. Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to opt out of sale (we don't sell). To exercise any right, use the in-app controls or email [support email].

Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it after account deletion (past the grace window). We protect it with encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls, and column-level encryption for sensitive free-text.

Not a medical service

GLOW supports your quit; it is not medical care, therapy, or a crisis service. If you're in crisis, contact 988 (call or text) or Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741). Nothing in GLOW is a substitute for professional advice.

Age

GLOW is for adults 18 and older.

Changes and contact

We'll post changes here and update the effective date. Questions: support@glowquit.com.

Community Guidelines

Effective · [effective date]

The GLOW community exists so no one quits alone. It stays safe because everyone in it — including us — protects it. Here's the deal.

Zero tolerance

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior in GLOW. None. Content or conduct that violates these guidelines is removed, and the people behind it lose access. This applies to posts, replies, display names, and photos.

What's not allowed

  • Harassment or hate. Attacks, insults, shaming, or hateful content of any kind, aimed at anyone.
  • Promoting nicotine or other substances. Glamorizing vaping, selling, or encouraging anyone to start again.
  • Harmful "advice." Medical misinformation, or discouraging someone from getting professional help.
  • Encouraging self-harm. Content that promotes hurting yourself, in any form. (Sharing that you're struggling is always allowed — and if it's heavy, we'll show you 988 and real help, not a warning.)
  • Sexual, violent, or graphic content. This is a support space, not that space.
  • Spam and self-promotion. Ads, links, referral-code farming, or off-topic promotion.
  • Sharing someone else's private information or content, including screenshots of other members' posts.

How the community is kept safe

  • Filtering. Every post and reply is screened by automated content-safety checks before it appears in the feed.
  • Reporting. Tap ··· on any post or reply → Report. Reports are anonymous — the person reported never knows who flagged it.
  • Blocking. Tap ··· on any profile → Block. You'll never see their content again, and they can't interact with yours.
  • Moderation. A human reviews every report within 24 hours. Violating content is removed, and accounts behind serious or repeat violations are ejected from the community.

Slips are welcome here

Posting about a setback is not a violation — it's the point. The community is where you bring the hard days. What's never okay is anyone making you feel small for having one.

Questions or appeals

If your content was removed and you think we got it wrong, email support@glowquit.com and a human will take a second look.

For creators
Your audience is already trying to quit. Help them actually do it.

GLOW is the quit-vaping app made for women — zero shame, real science, and a little bit of a game — built by a former designer of The Sims 4. We're launching on iOS with a small circle of creators whose audiences live this: wellness, glow-up, self-care, quit journeys.

This isn't a one-off #ad. We're looking for a handful of real partnerships: early access before launch, your own code to share with your audience, and content made in your voice — no scripts, no talking points you'd never say.

How partnering works

Three steps, no hoops.

  1. 01

    Apply

A short application — who you are, what you make, and why quitting content matters to your audience.

  2. 02

    We reach out

Every application is read by a human on our team. If it's a fit, you'll hear from us directly.

  3. 03

    Create, your way

You get early access to GLOW, then make what you'd actually make. Your voice, your format.

Ready when you are.

Applications are handled by Euphoria Labs, the Austin studio behind GLOW — the button below takes you to their application form.
